The Govt. through Minority Welfare Department vide its Notification No.-175, dated 01-02-2001 under Section-4 of the Waqf Act 1995 has appointed Revenue and Land Reforms Commissioner as Waqf Survey Commissioner, Assistant Survey Commissioner of Survey.

The facilitate survey of the Waqf and its properties Shia Waqf Board has sent a list of Waqf Estate registered with the Board to all concerning District Magistrates vide this office Letter No.-155 to 166, W.B., dated 13-04-2005 and 245 to 257, W.B., dated 22-06-2005 and as directed by the Minority Welfare Department vide Letter No.-1339, dated 02.01.2009. District wise details of Waqf property submitted to Revenue & Land Reforms, Govt. of Bihar vide this office Letter No.-1318, dated 08.07.2009.
